I love this quote! A life of selflessness is possible, and we're living proof. Sometimes the "job" aspect of being a VISTA keeps me from realizing that we truly are volunteers in service of America.

This quote is the truth ignored by most of us. And it is the only hope that we human beings save ourselves.

She's an Indian saint. She's very engaged in spiritual and charitable activities, which relates to our year of service pretty well.
